    Send the table.

    Open Balldog in Messages, choose your mode, and send an invitation. Your friends join the same bubble.

  2. 02

    Make the save.

    Drag the white ball into place, then flick it to throw. Hit the red to pass the pressure to the next player.

  3. 03

    Stay in the game.

    During a rally, let the red stop or pocket before you save it and you lose a life. Last player standing wins.

A throw still rolling won’t save you: if the red stops while you’re on the clock, it costs a life. Serves play by their own rules. Read the full rules

Is Balldog available yet?

Balldog is in public beta on TestFlight for iPhone. Open balldog.app/beta on your iPhone: it installs Apple’s free TestFlight app first, then Balldog. There is no App Store listing yet.

A friend doesn’t have Balldog. Can they still play?

Yes. When they tap your table without the app, they get a page with the beta link. Once it’s installed, they go back to Messages, tap the same table and Join. Before the first serve they sit down at once; mid-match they get a seat in the next one.

Does every shot send another message?

No. The live match stays in one shared iMessage bubble. Open the table to play; shots happen inside the game.

Can I play on my own?

Yes. Open the standalone Balldog app to practice against bots. Play with friends through Messages.

What happens if I leave the table?

Reopen the same bubble on the same iPhone to reconnect to your seat. A live rally keeps moving while you’re away, so your turn can still cost a life. More about reconnecting.
